I’ve gone to many places where I feel hopelessly alone, a speck among the masses of life. I always feel bitterly afraid and angry, wishing there was something more, something real. And here I feel alone, but in a different way.
How “Anger Turned Inward” Cost Me
In October 1993 I couldn’t stuff my dark feelings inside any longer. My deep down place, the one where I had crammed my feelings, overflowed that fall.
Memory stones
What do your memories signify? Are they markers of personal history? Are they ghosts who haunt you? Burdens or joys? My memories are all those things, and something else: My memories are like stones that commemorate meetings with God.
