How I Use Your Information

By signing up as a subscriber, you’ll receive my weekly email newsletter along with other subscriber-only bonuses, such as access to my resource library. I’ll also provide email updates and unique opportunities as I move forward in my writing career, including advertising for courses, books and other products.
You may be asked to participate in surveys, where I will collect your name and email address. However, you are not required to participate in surveys.
If you win a giveaway item that must be mailed to you, I will individually and privately request your mailing address and then destroy it after mailing the package.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the provided link at the bottom of each email you receive. If there’s anything I can do differently to improve my service to you, I’d love to hear from you. You can simply reply to any email I send.
If you have been given a password to access protected parts of this website, you agree to keeping the password confidential and not share it with anyone else.
Know that internet use is never 100% secure, whether on this site or any other. I will take care to protect your personal data, but I cannot offer a guarantee that your information is secure when transferred to my site. However, I promise to protect your information with policies and procedures once I receive it to protect it from non-authorized use.
Third Party Sharing
I currently use Mailchimp to handle my emails. When you sign up to receive emails from me, Mailchimp processes them. You are agreeing to Mailchimp’s privacy policy by signing up.
Since I use Google Analytics and other sites to analyze my website, some of your information will be automatically collected just by visiting my site. Google Analytics collects data including your IP address, browser, and date or time of use. If you would rather not allow Google Analytics to collect your data, you can opt out here.
If you purchase any of my products through PayPal links, some of your personal data will be collected by PayPal, such as billing information, address, and phone number. This information is used to process your order and communicate with you. You can see PayPal’s privacy policy here.
Other Disclosures
I regularly share links to Amazon products, as I participate in the Amazon Services LLC Associates program. When you purchase a book or product through my link, I receive a small commission at no cost to you, which helps me cover the costs associated with running a blog (such as web hosting fees).
I design most of my graphics in Canva and use the free photos there or from pexels.com. These photos are free for public use and do not require attribution. Sometimes I use my own photos as well.
All of my posts and graphics, including this privacy policy, are protected under U.S. copyright laws. No text or image can be used without express intent from Sarah Geringer unless proper attribution and/or a link back to this website are given.
