If you are an adult child of divorce, I’m hosting a solo podcast especially for you. Whether your parents divorced when you were a little child, teen, or even an adult, I have encouragement for you.
Are You an Adult Child of Divorce?
Many resources exist for people who are divorcing, and even for children whose parents are divorcing. But there are precious few resources specifically for us, though we deal with the fallout of our parents’ divorces for the rest of our lives.
I’m a child of divorce who has lived through two of my parents’ divorces and three remarriages. I was also married for 21 years to another child of divorce. Both of us had been permanently affected by the divorces, and it was difficult for us to navigate our marriage due to these traumas. It’s sad that our marriage ended in a messy divorce in March 2022, but I’ve learned much about being an adult child of divorce from my struggles.
My podcast, Heart in a Drawer, is created for you. Gain weekly encouragement in your relationship with God, your spouse, your children, and yes, your parents too. I need it myself, and I pray it will be a blessing to you.
I don’t host guests on my show, because I know we have a lot of private pain to process. It’s like an intimate conversation between you and me. I want to be the friend who sits with you, one on one, to affirm your hurts and point you toward healing in Christ. And, I’m honored to pray for you personally if you send a prayer request HERE.
