Today I have a letter to the compassionate Christian voter. I hope you’ll consider what I have to say before you vote.
A Letter to the Compassionate Christian Voter
Dear compassionate Christian voter,
I have heard some of you saying you won’t vote for a man who is a womanizer, has been accused of lies, etc. You are voting from a place of compassion for victims.
I understand and appreciate your concerns as a victim of abuse, infidelity, and lies.
Let me offer you another perspective. Feel free to unfollow after you listen.
The Challenger
For decades I was in a close relationship with an incredibly unhealthy Challenger personality type. You can read about those characteristics HERE.
However, if that type of person were in a contest against a woman leader who is projecting herself as compassionate, I would still closely look at their voting records before casting my vote.
Here’s what I know about the Challenger. This person was born to be a leader. They are extremely unwavering under pressure. Better than anyone I know, they get the job done – all in the professional world.
That’s where the vote matters most – in the professional world. Our president is not a pastor, who is righteously measured by character. Don’t hear me wrong – it’s not that character doesn’t matter for candidates. However, getting the job done in this extremely divided culture marked by intense spiritual warfare certainly does.
What Is Really At Stake
I am going to be very bold right now and say that our vote is really between freedom and socialism, not between a jerk and a seemingly compassionate woman.
Compassion is NOT open borders, asylum for criminals, “free” health care for all, bigger government, etc. That’s the path to socialism, which is not what the founding fathers wanted for our country. Neither do I, because a socialist system squashes freedom.
Let me put it to you one more way. Let’s say a storm tears off your roof. Would you do deep research into the roofing contractor’s personal track record? Most of us would pick the one who offers a reasonable price, shows up, and patches the hole ASAP. We need that more than “compassion” in the cultural crisis we are facing.
Go to THIS SITE before you vote. Vote on the issues, NOT the personality. Don’t let your compassion be played in this election.
