Christian families are facing many pressures today, especially in a post-Christian culture. Many parents want to pass on their faith to the next generation, but aren’t sure how to do that. My resource can help you learn about and discuss biblical virtues with your family in a convenient format.
I’m a wife and mom of three: two teen boys and one tween girl. Since my children were young, I have been intentional in teaching them the basics of faith, because I know this is a very important task.
I’ve always been interested in biblical virtues, and I enjoy the list of them in 2 Peter 1:3-8. These eight virtues are essential for Christian families in the current culture. That’s why I’ve developed a free, printable Bible study on these verses, short enough for family devotions.
Each page contains a quick intro, a few Bible verses, and several discussion questions. Parents can adapt the questions to fit their children’s ages and development levels. The eight devotions shouldn’t take longer than 10 minutes to complete.
You can use them for eight Sabbath rests in a row, or do them eight days in a row – whatever works for you. I’ve made them very easy for you to use. They will help you open up new discussions with your children, and inspire your faith too.
